ROYAL DINNER PACKAGES

 

Puri / Royal Balinese House Compound of the XVII Century at the Village of Kerambitan.

The Puri Anyar Kerambitan Palace complex covers an area of approximately 2,000square meters, comprised of 10 (ten) separate courts (Pelebahan) which have served as the home of the Royal family and its descendents dating from 1675 until its current inhabitants, the IX generation of the Royal line headed by Anak Agung Ngurah Oka Silagunadha as the Head of the Family of Puri Anyar Kerambitan.

The Palace itself is surrounded by a number of connected compounds, home to the descendents of minor wives of past Kings and the Village of Kerambitan, which inhabited by 2,000 inhabitants.

The Cultural Dinner Program

* The Welcoming Procession - Cultural Dinner
   the unique evening opportunity that glimpse the rich cultural life of Bali's Royal Courts.

* Mass of people carried out of bell on their necks, the welcoming demonstration of   
   OKOKAN Dance symbolized that Kerambitan Village it is famous for their Rice
    Storage.

:* 20 beautiful Balinese women carrying their traditional flowers On their own head  
    which is called “Canes”. This is to welcoming you at our Palace. The Cane flowers are
    symbolized as “Say it With Flowers”.

* Mass of 80 beautiful girls Balinese dancers, accompanied by complete instruments of  
   Gong orchestra to welcoming and invite the honorable guests in entering the Puri Anyar
   Kerambitan Palace.

:* The evening commences with welcome drinks.

* The Traditional Food Royal Dinner Procession with the Blanganjur Orchestra
   Instruments.

* The buffet dinner will be served.

* The Joged Bumbung will be demonstrated and the girl dancers will invite the guests to
   dance.

* The honorable guests are to proceed to go to the first yard of the Palace to attend for the
   last program.

* The “Tektekan” dance performance. The “Tektekan” drama trance dance will be
   performed by 100 dancers. This trance dance occasionally performs at Puri Anyar
   Kerambitan only and the Tektekan Dance is a drama story about the fight between the
   black and white magic power.
   In our Balinese believed, Rwa Bhineda means “Two Eternal Fight in the World”..

Start Time
We will pick up in a little bit different time depend on your hotel location. If you are staying at Nusadua area, we will pick you up in time range of 04.30 - 04.45 pm; Kuta at 04.45 - 05.00 pm; and for Sanur and Ubud at 04.30 - 04.45 pm.

If you want to experience dining with Balinese noble people and king, you can fulfill your wish at Puri Anyar Krambitan in Tabanan Regency. In Puri Anyar Kerambitan, which is also the residence of king of Tabanan and his extended family, you will have an amazing dining because the reception, the dining, the d écor, the entertainment are set as in the Royal time.

The Puri, which literally means the residence for noble people and king, still keeps heritages of the ancestors in terms of furniture, photographs, statues and antiques from the 17th century.
The dinner takes place in an open area of the puri at 7 pm the dining set is traditional and the menu includes traditional Balinese food.

The guests that arrive at Puri Anyar Kerambitan are welcomed with ceremonies. They are first greeted by a group of people that handle torches in their hands. The torches are meant to show the guests the way to enter to the Puri. It is an old Balinese tradition.

A group of peoplewith okokan (big wooden cow bells) that hang around their necks dance in front of the arriving guests. The dance is a symbol to show that Kerambitan is a famous rice producer in Bali.

All performances are backed with traditional Balinese music. Arriving at the yard of the Puri, the host greets the guests and invites them to Kori Agung of the Palace.

In an open garden dining area, the dining table and chairs are set for the guests. After a short speech by the host, the guests are served with Balinese rice wine and crackers.
The appetizer is traditional chicken with vegetable soup. The menus in buffet dinner include traditional Balinese food bearing international taste. The bamboo orchestra of Baleganjur goes along with dinner procession.

After dinner, Joged Bumbung by girl dancers is performed and the guests are invited to join in. Before seeing the last performance in the puri, the guests are invited to see the pavilions in puri and selections of photos of celebrities that visited have the compound.

Close to 10pm, Tektekan, a traditional performance is performed where you can see barong and trance dance is performed.

 

Completing your tour
After the Royal Dinning, our guide will take you back to your hotel. You may arrive at your hotel around 11.30 pm, depends on the location of your hotel.
